what is love?

For what is love,
I do not know.
For you see,
I have lost mine a long time ago.
I feel empty inside and out,
I'm stuck and I now don't know what to do.
How it came about,
Let me tell you.
My friend decides to betray me,
With who you must ask,
With the love if my life.
They have a secret relationship,
That she couldn't tell.
But, I'm to wise, I figured it out.
And now as I sit here in filled with doubt,
Does he actually love me or is it a trick?
Now, I part from you with just one question,
What is love?
And how dud it come about?
