Violet stars burn
Bright against the silver
Cream and pink
Lavender sighs
Cerulean whispers
Dusted with gold
And starlight
Or is it moonlight?
Shining through the curtains
To dust a soft glow
Upon her sleeping cheeks
And frost her lashes with
Silver gossamer dreams
And then gold rays of dawn
Caress her face
Like he did before
With his words
Because he loved her.
