Alone
A soft peaceful day
Wind gently blowing and sun gently going
Nothing but a smile on everybody’s face
There I lay in lonely solitude
Rain pouring in my prison
Not a physical prison but a mental one
One that traps the mind in thoughts
Hatred and misery
The kind that envelops all other thought or reason for logic
The kind where all you want to do is attack
But how could it be everyone is in their own blissful oblivion
Wrapped in their own thoughts and dreams of happiness
I lay there trapped
pondering how anyone can be happy
Why they’re not upset and furious like me.
