Be your own kind of Beautiful! <3
The mirror stands there. Looking at you.
It stands there admiring your curves and thinking, “Why can’t I look that good!?”
What do we hear instead?
“You’re fat, you’re ugly.”
“Look at that acne.”
Maybe your mirror is misunderstood.
Try to tell yourself that you look good.
Because one day you will look back and think...
Wow! I was gorgeous and just on the brink-
Of dieting, cosmetic surgery, intense exercise!
For what purpose? Just to drop down a size?
Girl!!! You don’t need that, you are alright.
You just tell yourself that day and night.
Fight for yourself. Discover your dreams.
Let your heart and your appearance gleam!
Who cares if you don’t weigh 100 pounds!
Who cares if your waist is 36 inches around!
I feel that is beautiful, I feel that is true.
I feel that there is no one who is prettier than you.
And if you disagree, close your eyes.
Think of this beautiful world, and then you’ll be surprised.
When you open your eyes again and see a lot of beauty.
Because you are beautiful, you’re sexy, you’re a cutie!
And if you’re not skinny “enough” or don’t have enough “tone”.
Remember that you are not alone.
We all feel ugly and fat some days.
But we are not that way, never, not always.
We need to stay true to ourselves.
We need to be true to our hearts and nothing else.
So next time, walk up to that mirror and be assertive.
Tell it that you’re beautiful and you deserve-
To feel pretty, slim, and beautiful.
There isn’t one day when your appearance is dull!
You are gorgeous in your own special way.
You are many different shades of wonderful every single day.
So prove that to yourself and never ever forget.
That there is so much to achieve in this world, don’t have regrets.
You don’t need to be perfect, you don’t need to be plastic.
You in yourself are completely, truly fantastic!
So put down that makeup, that ruler and push up bra!
Raise up your fist and shout “Hoorah!”
You are better than that and you deserve so much more.
You’re beautiful, and to acknowledge that is what you’re fighting for!
Believe in your self, take hold of your heart and soul.
Be true to yourself. be your own kind of beautiful!
