Favorite Quote:
nothing last forever

Between the cracks,
I see the world
As it spins round and round
Between the cracks,
I see people come and go
Leaving with free will.
Between the cracks,
I see the kids play,
But I’ll play here behind this door.
Between the cracks,
I see a glimpse of color.
It moves up and down,
Until its out of sight.
Between the cracks,
I cannot see.
I must open to door.
And leave the tiny crack.
Outside the door,
I see a balloon,
It floats away with ease.
Touching the grass,
I chase the balloon,
In hopes I can fly away with peace.

I was half asleep when the words to this poem started circling in my head. I turned my light on got a pen and paper and wrote it down. This my be one of my favorite poems i have written. I think it kind of explains how a lot of us are scared to just be ourselves, but once we figure out who we are and we want people to know who we are then we can stop being scared and just be happy and free.
