Dead Lights
Yes they’re there,
He’s the one that sees them.
Now that the people are gone, but still work.
Still some lights on, after all,
Leading the shadows with a black gloom of the pain and sorrow,
They remind the remaining of the darkness that shrouded the world,
It’s all over now, there’s nothing.
But those lights,
They still glow faintly,
One by one they burn out,
A silent flicker flicker of a dying technology.
The last breath of civilization.
