Lonely Oblivion
Swallowed up by hate, darkness closing in
Don't you know the blackest times have only just began
Use all you have left inside to fight for your right
Cuz you know our days are numbered and you might just lose your life
Our knuckles bloody from the cold, love never dies was what we're told
It used to be held in our palms, sprinkled with grief yet we press on
Never knowing, never seeing, never believing only deceiving
Into a state of deep oblivion, lonely oblivion
We're all left shiverin'
What's right anymore? You're losing this fight
One last breath exhaled into the night
One puff of smoke drifting away, grating your existence
Muting the fray
Choking your smile, eyes glazed and red
You take everything in, nothing more to be said
The last thing gazed upon is her
There's no use for doctors, you know you're past cures
You're aged and flying, alone and frying
Her tears soak your thoughts cuz she knows that you're dying
And dying young is the worst thing that can happen
You feel yourself floating, deaths fingernails tapping
You lost this game, your brain couldn't be tamed
Ain't it but the truth
Meth is really a shame
