Suddenly
She felt the cold pair of eyes stare at me
Waiting and waiting,
Failing seems to be in the cards for me.
So I guess they have their popcorn,
Trying to enjoy the show.
The slow down fall of a little girl,
Trying to conquer the world.
But as she climbs, the ratings fall.
People just waiting for the next mistake,
Waiting for the next stumble.
The little girl holds on with all her might,
In hopes that she too will never fall through.
She climbs and she climbs,
But on her way to the top,
She then suddenly stops.
“I don’t need to prove them right..
I simply need to prove them wrong.”
She kept climbing, that little girl.
She goes at her own pace
And she continues to climbs to this day.
