Gray Ghost Girl
A black sky
With low clouds
Heavy, gray
Holding rain
I’m outside
I’m walking
Through people
Buildings, cars
A city
Crowded, loud
Dark at night
Suddenly
I notice
It’s empty
No people
Stark silence
I begin
To feel scared
Then I hear
A low voice
A ghost voice
Through thick fog
Telling me
To slow down
I speed up
Run away
Try my best
I’m too slow
But the ghost
Is faster
Outruns me
Makes me shake
My bones chill
I can’t scream
Horrified
I watch the
Low black sky
I’m haunted
By a ghost
I hear it
Constantly
Eerily
In my ear
My heart beats
Quick with fear
No, terror
At its worst
Dark and loud
But worse still
The city
Crowded, loud
Drowns this out
No one hears
Desperate calls
I scream out
My voice mute
My ghost laughs
My terror
Continues
