Camping
The dirt, the river water, the heat.
Hair’s down, no makeup, this can’t be beat.
Looking up at the sky, bright blue
The sun rises, and the birds get their cue.
With their chirping, and the wind.
I don’t want this to ever end.
It’s so real, so earthy and raw.
There seems to be no government, no law.
My legs are sore, my mind is clear.
In these woods I have no fear.
Of life, people I don’t want to face.
I feel cleansed, my sins have been erased.
Nothing can tear down my smile,
When I am out camping in the wild.
