The weeping clouds
Drowned the rotting oaks,
And the stalks of grass
Which blocked the birds
From reaching the melted peaks
But the restless puddles
Bubbled in rhythm
With the cascading winds,
Creating a slow waltz
With the adoring grainy mud
Of the adjacent shore
