Late nights without you
Your not here, but in my imagination, you are never gone.
(Giving off surprise as you kiss me softly, repeatedly on my shoulder. When our eyes are low, mind and bodies high, we can just look at one another and I feel the romance flowing through us, around the atmosphere, pulling us closer and locking us in. In where? Each other.)
You see, I have memories with you to last a lifetime, but for now I reminisce late at night, when my bed is lonely without you. I hold it and tell the sheets "Everything is okay, he'll be back again." Then I share our memories with the mattress.
