You Can't Bring Me Down
With every dream there comes pain, and it was from that moment
With tears streaming down my cheeks
And a wicked cut in my heart,
That I stopped looking at the ground
To look up at the stars.
 And they blew me away.
Strong and bold and so beautifully shining in the dark sky,
 Not burdened nor sad ,
 And my wide eyes glowed.
I would always drag that horse around,
But that life of misery was behind me.
It was time to make my own destiny,
Time to reach for the stars in the sky.
 Forget the past,
 It does you no good.
All you need is faith in the future.
