A crowd of people are unfolding secrets, gossip and news. Sharing and exposing it to the outer world, socializing and bargaining, chitter and chatter everywhere, some calm some loud.


Full of resources hidden deep beneath the ground, waiting to be mined out, seeking in the desert there is great hope to be found.

Reams of colors, patterns, and rhythm are woven together; fabric is cut and stitched as it tries to embark on an endeavor

Industries struggle, for there is minimum technology, but the place continues to grow as we uncover its curious archaeology

Cultures emerge together into a diverse nation, spreading their faith and reminiscing on ancient times as the life flows, from stations to nations

Architecture signifies this great address, rural and simplistic buildings bridge the gaps between the natural and artificial as this place truly shows its finesse.


The author's comments:
This is an acrostic poem meant to showcase all the qualities the continent possesses. I hope everyone can learn to appreciate Africa's true beauty and see how it is a center of hope and change.
