A Eulogy for Roy G. Biv
Grey lines blur
the existence
of the joy
that once gave me
hope.
Black stains
white
with all types
of mutilations and
lacerates nasty
cuts so deep
that not even stitches
can seal them.
Say goodbye to
Roy G. Biv
who made me smile
so greatly
a fierce happiness
flooded my heart
and my innocent dimples
caught people's attention-
who didn't love a little color in their life?
He will be sorely missed.
