“Where you think you’re going?”
They ask me that all the time.
I never know how to reply,
Because I don’t have a real answer,
Or at least the one they want to hear.
The truth is,
I don’t care where I’m going.
As long as there is a sun
Greeting me in the mornings when I wake.
I don’t care where I’m going.
As long as I have a happiness
In my bones
Causing me to continue.
Don’t ask me what I want to be,
You’ll hate the answer.
