I am the intangible externality
I am the intangible externality.
I’m here, I’m there, I’m around…
I’m unnecessary and unimportant.
I have a voice and I have reason
But I’m not the voice of reason.
Just a voice. Just an opinion.
Intangible.
Insubstantial and elusive.
Not reflective; not even there.
I am the intangible externality.
Eyes graze over me.
My voice travels in and out of the ears.
My touch is soft. It’s barely there. It lingers not.
Sometimes it’s unnoticed.
Sometimes you’re just sure it was something else.
The important part
What I need you to know is
I’m intangible. I’m external. But I’m here.
