love hurts

love is a hammer
Its hits you hard when you’re not looking
Pulls you out when you’re not ready
It can bend you
Break you
Pound you in until your nothing
The touch o f the rust may hurt
Or the bearing of metal may leave you out in the cold
You never know what end you’ll get
Both sides abuse your faith and passion for love
But once you’ve found two alike nails that can put a board into place
The hammer will pound you there forever
