Beachy Feelings

The feelings come like a wave crashes a shore,
the tears fall like the rain on a spring day,
all she wants is to hide,
she wishes it was easier,
she just wants someone to say they're still there,
she needs someone to notice,
all she wants is to feel the peace from beach side,
the soft winds that rush through her hair,
all she wants is to be at the beach where it's OK to be carefree

I love it! I just recently went the the beach for the first time and I was in awe! I completley understand the feelings it give you. It is just so comforting and serene. It's like the big ocean just swallows up all your problems while you are there and for once you can relax and feel at peace. I only was there for one day and I miss it so much! Loved your poem, it made me remember too!
