Life is a Road

Life is a road, It has its twists and turns; ups and downs. Sometimes it is a straight path, paved with smooth, glossy, stone slabs, comforting for their bare feet. Then one day it may turn, left or right, up or down, then they wonder ‘Where am I going?’ or ‘What is on the other side?’. Sometimes it may become rough like sand paper, paved with uncertainty; hidden with thorns, to pierce out the comfort their bare feet were once feeling on the smooth, paved road. The length of the journey is unknown and the road is unpredictable. Life is a road.
