What do you gain
Why do you hurt me
Again and again
Why don't you want me
To wipe your tears
Why don't you need me
To calm your fears
Why do you lie to me
When I know the truth
Why don't you love me
Though I love you
Why do I cry
When I know you won't
Why do I hold on
When I know you don't
Why do I hope for a yes
But you give me a no
Here is where I'll always wait
There is where you'll always go
My heart is broken
It has taken its toll
But you don't mind
Your heart is whole
