Beautiful Places, Beautiful Faces
I see all these beautiful faces,
In so many beautiful places.
I wish I looked half as good,
But I know I never could.
Too many people have said I was ugly,
That I would never be lovely.
I can never take a compliment,
My beauty, forever absent.
I look at you,
You have no clue,
You are adorable,
While I look horrible.
These tears I shed,
I am filled with dread,
I look around,
There is no sound.
I see others smile smugly,
Because they know I am ugly.
