My Best Friend

Here from the beginning all the way to the end,
My love is also my best friend.
We've been through it all, alone or together,
Creating a relationship that will never whether.
One falls down the others right there,
The only ones who give enough to care.
Even through all the hurt,
Our hearts being smashed into the dirt.
We still manage to stand tall.
Being defiant to them all.
Because in the end we're strong and few,
Because it's just me and you.
