My Valentine
She makes it race
She was there one minute, the next she was gone
She was nowhere in sight, somewhere beyond
She made me feel free, she made me feel light
She’s the one for me, but she left me that night
So now I sit here, sulking away
I just sit here, wasting the day
Then I hear footsteps coming up from behind
I turn to see my valentine
I hold her gaze, she holds mine
My one, my only, my valentine
We come to each other, a warm embrace
And that’s why she makes my heart race.
