I once knew a girl
She was always silent
Always quiet
And never once smiled

I once knew a girl
She always screamed but was never heard
She always cried but was never pitied
And she was always in plain sight but never seen

I once knew a girl
Her face always had a look of pain
Her eyes were always filled with unspilled tears
And she always had something to say
But she never said it
She wrote it down
She was me

The author's comments:
When i was in Sixth grade i was the black sheep and had only one friend who was always kinda mean to me. It was basically the worst year of my life especially when i was sent to counseling. I was always silently bullied and so i wrote this poem to tell people that the silent kind of bullying is probably the worst.
