Talking to you just makes me want to cry now.
What used to be so happy and willful,
is a sad toiled mess.
What was once built up so high,
is now in deaths caress.
It would be a lie,
if I said I didn't miss us.
Our love,
our will to fight.
Everything about us just...
Made sense.
So where does all of this lead to?
A crushed letter in a trash can?
A broken puzzle piece?
Maybe we've just come to a dead end.

I write poems like this, for people who might eventually go through a similar situation in life. So maybe one day, they can read it and think, "Maybe I will be okay. I can get through this."
