Of victims in
The Vietnam War,
Add the name of Lewis Puller
For he is a
Victim just like the rest.
His crippled legs
Could not walk;
His worn mind
Could not heal.
He tried to fight
The brooding clouds
And the row of bottles
On the shelves.
Jack Daniel Captain Morgan
Starred down at him with disgust
As the final gun
Cried out.
He shall not be
Forgotten
