The Shadows

Within the shadows there can't be friends
it's said it's where the fiendish fend
The darkness couldn't be a home
they say it's where the reaper roams
The empty, saddened souls here crept
where we're told cold hearts are kept
They say we can join them
If only we give in
We walk without knowledge
We walk along the edge
Still we never know
the secrets that the shadows hold
