Moving slowly
like cattle
through the packed
long never ending
suspenseful walkway
Arriving in a strange
place not knowing
what lies ahead
strange people staring and watching
Everyone does their
own thing
groups of people
are forming
in little cliques
Wandering around
not knowing where
to go losing
sight of
all you know
Trying to stay
hidden but
secretly wanting
to join in
all the excitement
Nerves racking
while minds
scramble trying
to make sense
of it all
Learning and
experiencing new
and unique
things about
people and life
