Facade
It’s not okay, it’s not alright. To be happy at day and cry at night. It’s not alright, it’s not okay, when you force yourself to smile all day. I can’t help it, I wear a facade. It seems like everyone applauds--- about my chronic depression. All the sadness and extreme aggression- is directed straight at my soul. They try to gain all control. They forget that I don’t just merely exist. I live a life, a life in the mist. Camouflaged by the dark; one little lark- perched in one lone tree, well... this is me.
