Left Behind
Life is extremely hard to define.
Especially when you feel left out,
As if I am always left behind.
No one hears me shout.
“Come back,” I say, as I collapse.
My heart falls to the ground.
Another day, another relapse.
I try to fly, I’m always crashing down.
They say I have support and love.
They say they truly care.
As if I’m below, they’re above,
And I disappear in mid-air.
It’s like nobody is by my side,
Ignored, forgotten, refined.
Don’t worry about me, as my emotions collide.
I’ll always be the one who is left behind.
