frost melting eyelashes
escape from the cold.
eyes that glance through bedroom curtains
made of worn lace.
a body that travels though dampened hallways
and rough hands that lead the way through old doorways.
ears, that hear whispers,
moving through dry breezes.
strength, crushed
under concrete.
