My Juliet
I stood beside her and saw her there
Laying still with death surrounding her
In one hand she held her savior
Her only friend and love
While in the other she held a letter
Drenched In her color of love
There I stood looking upon her
Never have I seen such beauty
Her lips no longer pail
But full of life
They beckoned me
To steal one last kiss
I lean down and look
Too see her cold eyes
And I saw freedom like no other
Lightly I kiss her lips And pull away
Never to kiss another
For I knew she was my Juliet
