Reflection
People say the moon is beautiful
Every face it makes shine downs nicely
It is truly perfect
Most forget the moon has craters
When you look up at it, it looks whole
When you admire it, you ignore its flaws
The moon is beautiful no matter what clouds cover it
But I wonder when its face is black,
does it morn,or pity itself?
I wonder when its covered by clouds,
does it lose the bright shine people admire?
I wonder when the moon is full,
is the shine on its face fake
I believe the moon is clever
You never know its flaws until you get up close
It always shining down on others, hiding what's beneath
Yes, I believe the moon is sneaky,
for I have learned from it
I am just a reflection of a sun shining on me
