Falling
It was simple
And yet destructive.
The feelings.
The hate.
The love.
It was never enough
And all she knew.
How did she let herself get this way?
In a place of nothing but despair.
She stopped holding grudges.
Forgave every wrong.
And it wasn't enough.
She tried to let go of the hurt.
Forget all the pain.
And it wasn't enough.
Now she is falling.
Falling into an abyss.
Into deeper despair.
Further into hatred.
And she can't stop.
She's falling.
All because of the balancing act.
The balancing act that cost her her life.
The act of hope.
The act of love.
She's falling.
And she can't stop.
