A valley, a giant crack that splits plains and deserts and hearts.
Failure becomes no hope, no success, no dreams
Suffering shows itself in somber moods,
Faces full of tears,
Shaking hands begging for help
A gap created by the corrupt pearl of greed.

The shelters of cardboard boxes
The children lost and starving
The children with the visible ribcages
A sign of weakness
The helpless women in need of hope
The gap must be crossed.

It is time to cross the gap of sadness.
Time to unify.
Time to work together.
Time to hold hands.
And build the bridge,
And build the bridge.
