Friendless
People don’t really see me as a friend
More like a person to hang out with that one time
And it doesn’t matter if you ever see her again
Sometimes people come to me for advice
Not as a friend, but as a person
A person just for giving things
And I give it
willingly
Anything to feel that small time of feeling needed
Wanted
Cared for
And maybe I won’t ever be a friend
Just a passing glance
Or a slight wave from passing recognition
Living life friendless
Maybe that’s what’s meant for me
