Bullet
I was asked what
sadness felt like
it's like swimming
but instead of a clear
ocean or a pool
it is a dark black abyss
and you are never sure
of what is lurking below
the waves
like you shut
your eyes to escape
but instead of
traveling away to a
paradise
you are introduced to
even more darkness
more pain
and more sadness
like when you hear
a gunshot from a
few blocks down and
you have no idea who
did it
or even who it was
aimed for
but you still feel the
bullet pierce you
and you kind of wish it did.
