Too Late
In pain, in death, my darkness shows,
In rain, in wrath, my fear grows,
Out of the light, into the dark,
I sink from sight, like a wounded shark.
Hide me, save me,
Just don’t crucify me,
For those thoughts you see,
For how I happen to be.
I’m alone in the sun,
I’m under the barrel of a gun,
I try, I try, I try to run,
But no, too late, it’s begun.
