Revenge
The flame licks the paper,
Blackening the forming crust.
A blood-thirsty gleam in the eyes of the hooded figure.
Twisting the paper, which lights up the figures face,
A girl.
She drops it onto the wood.
A flicker brightens, then becomes a monumental fire.
Her hysterical laugh echoes through the burning house.
It increases with the screams descending from inside.
The final scream, the final breath, the final death.
She treads on the remains on the charcoal filled yard,
Throws a ring into the final flame,
And her eyes turn a scarlet red,
As the ring melts into a small pool of liquid metal.
