I Fall though I'm Tall

When I was just a small little green guy
I began to try and sprout my limbs
and I stretched taller and taller
until I grew so high, I could touch the
heavenly sky
broad and strong,
I still fall down to my enemy
a small little man


The author's comments:
I wrote this poem in my Language Arts class. Our teacher took us outside and we sat under a big tree. Then she asked us to write a poem about what we observed.

I was a fan of this when it was in your Writer's Notebook, and every time I read it, I smile!  Great work, Evan!
