I Leave The Door Unlocked MAG
I leave the door unlocked
I leave the lights on
at night
I'm scared of the dark
you know that
I wait for you
and the others say I shouldn't
but you still have my heart in your pocket
and I just want it back
I haven't slept
and I can't breathe
you lay all over the air
and try to kiss me when I sob
so maybe it's a good thing my lungs are
collapsing
I wait for you
and don't want to live
because you make me
leave the door unlocked
you make me
leave the lights on
and all I want is you home
to turn the lights off
and say good-night
but we both know you'll stay up
till three
I want your eyes back
when they tease me for going to bed at nine
I want your smile back
when it sticks to the back of my mind
so I'll wait
with nothing but the coat you forgot
I leave the door unlocked
I leave the lights on
just
don't be
dead
