My Nightmare
Towards the end of it all
I didn't think you'd do it
But you did
And you have to go
For I am tired!
Tired of tears falling down my cheeks
And a ripping of my heart in two
Of deciding whether or not to trust
Being able to fall in love
Love won't last without faithfulness and honesty
But you broke that law didn't you?
You broke it and didn't even feel bad
You still don't
You are not invited back in
You have been cut out of all of our pictures
And you are never spoken about
You are more like a dream
Or in our case a nightmare.
