A day starts
Seconds go by
Minutes go
Time flies

I stay inside
Exercise some more
Watch old TV re-runs
"Oh what a bore"

The weekends come
I go to the pool
Have fun at the beach
Actually do things that are cool

The weekday come back
I crack open a book
Settle down, get cozy
In my little reading nook

Volunteer at the library
Days go by
School is almost near
And now the time flies

Counting days down
Summer is almost at an end
School will come soon and I'll
see all my friends

Labor day weekend
Fun at the beach and pool
A few more days summer will be over
And I'll have to return to school
