A Rainbow and Stars
A rainbow stretched across the sky,
Little girl please don’t cry.
Everything will be alright,
Just wait for the stars of night.
One of those stars is you, little girl.
You can change the entire world
With just one little smile.
Little girl, please let it last a while.
Little girl please don’t cry,
There’s a rainbow stretching across the sky
Telling you it will be alright,
Just wait for the stars of night.
Little girl please don’t worry.
The world does not know your story.
You cry because you worry, too.
All your dreams will soon come true.
Little girl it’s alright.
Here come the first stars of night.
Wait for another rainbow,
Little girl live for tomorrow.
Little girl please don’t cry.
Your alive, your soul won’t die.
Little girl, it’s alright.
Take my hand and hold it tight.
The Little Girl decided to stay,
She smiled and lived for today.
With a tear and a little sorrow,
She lives for the promise of tomorrow.
