And as I bleed
And as I bleed glass onto the floor
drip by drip to create a reflection
You hold me watching
but never push me in
as I slip off without detection
And as I bleed I'm in your nightmares
I'm shoving the truth down your throat
reliving a weak ribcage from your
uncertainty
I tie the knot of your rope
And as I bleed I try to sleep
death without the commitment
In days like these
I don't need your guidance
the only thing that makes sense
is your silence
And as I sleep I fall apart
Branded smiles
and faded eyes
My echo is the only response
in my cavern of life
to my empty cries
