Smiles Turned to Glares
Always seem to be on the run
We haven't spoken in so long
We can't get past the 'how are you'
We're not talking like we used to
The smiles turned to glares
Standing up for one another
Turned to standing against one another
Who are you?
Every smile of yours these days os fake.
Trust me, I know. And I know I'm the only one who does.
The phrase, "People change, memories don't" has never made more sense.
