Fall announces itself very bold,
As the cold front takes away the summer.
The leaves quickly change from green to gold,
How easily you can see the difference in color.

As I walk outside into the cold air,
There are no leaves on the trees to see.
Just hot cocoa for the families to share,
And the fog in the air as I breathe.

The children can't wait for the school day to end,
So that they can go outside and play.
They will make piles of leaves to run and jump in,
And they'll be laughing and screaming all day.

The men are outside collecting the wood,
To place down into the chimney.
Now that the cold weather is understood,
We gather around the fire to end the shivering.

There are many fun things to do,
When it comes to this time of the year.
Such as dressing up and yelling "Boo!",
And stuffing our faces until the table is cleared.

This is such a wonderful season,
It is definitely my favorite of all.
I have given you many of my reasons,
Why I very much enjoy the Fall.
