Death for the Undying

Death for the undying,
Rest for the insomniac.
I have lived through innumerable moments.
To me, years do not exist.
I have engineered the passing of billions.
From the first man, to that celebrity you saw on T.V.
I visit them all the same.
In death, all are equal.
Some in undying agony,
Some comfortably asleep amongst the vast swathes of linens.
I find myself tired,
Wanting those linens.
I have seen enough.
I long for my own end.
