Hurtful Lies
You told me it was okay.
You lied;
Lied right to my face.
Now look at me.
Tear stains on my face.
I don’t know who I am anymore.
Does anyone nowadays?
But now I’m just lying here.
Not only had you stabbed me in the back,
You stabbed me in the heart.
I feel it falling hard to my stomach.
It’s hard to trust you now.
You’re a cold, heartless person.
Believe me, I know.
